An Untold Poem for a Girl

I’m so in love with this girl who made me so exceptionally happy,

I can’t get her out of my head.

I love her when she smiles.

I love her when she tickles me.

I love her when she’s playing with my ears.

I love her when she blows her jokes.

I love her when she laughs.

I love her when she hugs me so tight.

I love her when I stare at her.

I love her when she’s not comfortable with her sitting position.

I love her when she calls my name.

I love her when she holds my hand and plays with my thumb.

I love her when she’s fooling around my weakness

I love her when I smell her hair.

I love her when she’s drunk.

I love her when she says she misses me.

I love her when she’s drunk.

I love her when she’s a sleepy head.

I love her mole in her left forehead.

I love her when she sleeps on my lap.

I love her when she looks at me ridiculously.

I love her when she contradicts my corny jokes.

I love her when she doesn’t know what she’ll eat today.

I love her when she’s confused with sentence construction.

I love her when I wipe her wet hands.

I love her when she wipes my sweat.

I love her when she’s banging her shoes while walking.

I love her when she smells Green Tea.

I love her when she plays with my tummy.

I love her when she says “I love you” to me.

I love her coz she gave me a reason to love again.

I love her coz she’s making me happy.

I love her for all the reasons I can’t explain.

I love her coz she’s my everything.

I love her coz she made me complete again.

I love her coz she’s my life.

She’s the reason why I’m happy right now.

She’s the reason why I’m contented.

She’s everything I need in my life, too bad coz she’s not mine.

But one day SHE will be.

Alvin made this poem when he was still my best friend. During those times, I have no clear idea about his feelings and vice versa. I remember crying the moment I read this poem because at first, I thought it was for another girl. Its wonderful to know that someone loves you for all the reasons you both can’t comprehend.

I was amazed at how he was able to notice even the little details about me and love even the weirdest habit that I have. Now that we are soon to celebrate our 5th year Anniversary, I realized that the reason why we lasted for quite a long time is that we never grew tired of finding reasons to love each other. And every day as we discover new things about each other, we lose track of time till we made it this far. And we plan to do it for another 5 years…till hopefully, for all the days of our lives.
